meet the photographer

Hi, I’m Yana! I’m a faith-based photographer with a love for storytelling, the outdoors, and documenting people as they truly are. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was 14, and getting to call this my job now is something I’ll never stop being grateful to God for.

My photography is inspired by the things I already love in everyday life-being outside, exploring new places, little moments between people, and memories that you wish you could hold onto forever. I’m drawn to photos that feel honest and lived-in rather than perfectly posed.

I’m based in Washington and spend a lot of my free time somewhere in the mountains, usually around Mount Rainier, with indie music playing on the drive. Photography has taken me to some pretty incredible places, but my favorite part will always be the people I get to meet and the stories I get to document along the way.
